Saigon Pho Grill - Westminster
This place offers both the meat and the bone - a suitably rough and
prideful presentation of all that is good about the Southeast Asian canon.

John Holly's Asian Bistro - Park Meadow & DU
Carpaccio Roll a specialty listed on the menu at John Holly's. . .combination
of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, imitation crab, and avacado. . .tops with cherry
tomatoes, basil, capers and olive oil. An Italian twist on a decidedly Japanese
Dish. Odd, perhaps given the Asian setting, but close your eyes and taste, and
you'll swear you're eating the real thing-that is, a savory bite of beef Carpaccio

Miyama of Colorado - Lone Tree
Miyama is as much museum as it is restaurant and, if you get a chance, it's well
worth taking a few minutes to tour the facility before you leave. Summing up, at
Miyama, where even the waitresses are clad in kimonos, you're completely
immersed in all that is Japan. more from Warren Byrne Restaurant Show 7/13/07

GB Fish & Chips - Denver
While the fish fry might not have been the best ever, it was the best I've found in Denver:
sticks of flaky cod cut off the fillet, jacketed in a perfect, crisp, crumbling batter
(which reportedly took Stokeld years to get right) more from Westword 4/17/08

the bangers which we ordered with mashed potatoes. I’m not normally a huge fan
of bangers but since these were touted as homemade we had to give them a try,
and wow, were they good, accompanied by a portion of caramelized onions.

New York Pizzeria - South Denver
The pizzas are perfect New York, thin-crust masterpieces; made with good,
fresh ingredients and that magical, mystical grease that makes a slice a slice.
Also on the menu, big calzones, potato knishes, hot dogs and Dr. Brown’s soda.

Siamese Plate - Boulder Broomfield Loisville
An exotic, yet unassuming Thai restaurant that cooks up a culinary
travelogue of tastes. (January 14th 2004)

Sonoda's - Four Locations
At any of this local mini-chain’s four locations, you can be sure of getting the good stuff,
assembled by a kitchen that’s spent years trying to get a virtually changeless menu exactly right.

Sansone Bistro - Greenwood Village
A recent spate of very positive calls on "The Restaurant Show" brought me to his door again this week.
The half duck confit truly is a treat, remarkably crusty on the outside, with lots of flavor enhanced by
a white-wine/pear demiglace and poached pears on the side (click for full review).
